Development of each child’s faith life is the overall goal of the religious education program. Through prayer, participation in the liturgy, Scripture study, and emphasis on Christian values and standards in everyday living, the students are exposed to the traditions that give Catholic education its unique flavor.

Preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation is an integral part of the religious education of children. The sacraments are taught not as isolated events, but are incorporated in each grade level as signs that the Lord is always present.

Saint Joseph’s Catholic leadership is strong due to an informed, proactive, and supportive principal and faculty. Children have many opportunities to be active in faith through school-sponsored events. They recognize Catholicism through its traditions as well as their works toward social justice and the well-being of others. The school year is clearly marked by complete and meaningful liturgical services, events, and celebrations.
