Newsletter Highlights
Donations Add Up: Thank you for donating your junk mail and old newspapers to our Recycling Bins. We recently received a check in the amount of $98.44 which will be placed in our Tuition Assistance Fund. Our latest donation saved 20.53 cubic yards of landfill space! Hoorah for Mother Earth!
May Crowning: The eighth grade class has chosen Hannah Bohlen to crown the statue of Mary and Alden Kerr to be her escort. The entire class will serve as the honor guard. The May Crowning will take place on Monday, May 3, at the 8:30 a.m. Mass. The eighth graders will then receive their Graduation Ribbons at the end of the Mass. Parents are welcome to attend. We are very proud of our Class of 2010.
Talent Show: We thank Miss Lepczynski and the Student Council for organizing our Talent Show. The four winners are: Ruqayat Adebesin, Christine Augustin, Magali Souffrant, and Tabitha Willis. We certainly have many talented students here at St. Joseph School.
Tech Trek is Friday!
The “Tech Trek” is the only fundraiser we hold for our Technology Program. Please be as generous as possible, and ask relatives, friends, and neighbors for donations. St. Joseph School would benefit greatly from some Smart Boards and other updated Technology. Donations are due no later than Wednesday, April 28, and prizes will be given on April 30. PK-KDG. will walk on the north parking lot from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Grades 1-8 will begin walking at 12:45 p.m.
While we're talking about it, if you understand technology and would like to help direct the future of St. Joseph School, contact the school to let us know today!
