Lieutenant
John Jones of the Hazel Crest Fire Department spoke to the students in Preschool,
Kindergarten and First Grade. Lieutenant Jones is the father of Brittney
in Second Grade and Brandon in Kindergarten. He shared with the students
many of his experiences including the one that earned him the Firefighter
Medal of Honor. Lieutenant Jones is one of only 50 firefighters in the State
of Illinois to earn this honor.....EVER. He is a true hero and we were honored
to have him speak to the children. Many thanks for your time Lieutenant
Jones.
