Guest Speaker
Mrs. Connie Means, a former teacher and principal in the Chicago Public Schools, addressed the Junior High students during Black History month. By tracing the roots of Hip Hop, she showed what is good and what is bad in the movement. While speaking to the eight grade, Mrs. Means spoke about the good and bad in every culture whether it is the Irish, German, or African American. Let us celebrate the good in each other. All of us are unique, but we are all created in the image of one God.
